Ron begins our Gettysburg,
Pennsylvania trip with a victory salute.

What the heck, I'll take a phote near a canon too... Hey, it's Gettysburg!

Bill and I next to the North Carolina Memorial.

Bill and I on Big Round Top... next to the phallic symbol memorial.

Bill enjoying rock climbing on Big Round Top.

That would have been a long fall if I slipped! Great view though...

Going down a trail from Big Round Top. I had a lot of fun hiking around this day.

Time for lunch at the Lincoln Diner! I was allowed to smoke in this diner (I took up smoking again for this trip). But have since quit again. :)

Bill and Ron exploring at Devil's Den, near Little Round Top.

Ron near Devil's Den, hanging out with the Latin Bikers. (I believe they rode to Gettysburg from Michigan).

Ron after reaching to top of one of the observation towers.

A view of Little and Big Round Top... the hills in the background, that is. :)

The Union area where Pickett's
Charge happened. The march began in the woods in the background.
This memorial was to a fallen Confederate general who died during the fight.
Ron and I struck a pose for the historical moment.
A great moment in U.S. history. The fate of the nation was decided on this
hallowed ground. The Union was preserved.

Bill and I at the Pennsylvania Memorial. Big structure.

The Sun begins to set on our Gettysburg trip. I would love to go back. I had a great time there with my friends... and the ghosts of the battle.

We ended our Gettysburg
trip at this Malt Shop in town. What a great trip! And it wasn't over yet...
:)
