Pictures From China!

This is the walled city of Xian. It was once the capital of China. This wall goes all the way around the city.

The Terracotta Soldiers are near Xian.

They are still excavating the area. These 'soldiers' were placed in the tomb to protect the first Qin emperor (around 210 BC).

Melisa and I inside the Terracotta museum. As the trip wore on we had become misery-buddies. :)

This is a bathroom in one of the places we stayed at. Most places were hotels... but this was a college dormatory. You can go to the
bathroom, shower, and brush your teeth all at the same time! :) Actually, this was one of my favorite stops in China. We had fun here!

Here I am with my new friend Lily. We still keep in contact. She is a great person and I hope she can come to America one day to visit.

This is on a panda preserve four hours from Cheng-du.

Me and a lovable panda! He is only a few months old. If you look closely, I lost weight from the earlier pictures.

We visited a silk factory. It is very interesting how they make silk.

Shanghai at night. It truly is a modern city... complete with McDonalds and everything else you would expect. :)

We ended our trip in Shanghai. My three weeks in China were great (excepting the Imodium moments!). It is a magical place and I miss it.
